The Learning Hub

Everything we know, taught properly. 3 courses and 7 lessons that take the argument a passage at a time, and a library of 24 articles for when you have ten minutes rather than an hour.

No course has a prerequisite. You do not need to have read the letter, or any other course, before starting any of them — each one teaches its own ground from the beginning.

  • Course

    Church & pastoral life

    A Letter to Church Leaders

The open letter that begins the series: the charge laid before pastors and elders, the three claims it rests on, and the pastoral care it asks for the people who have already used these methods. Start here if you are going to read only one thing.

The Tract: Do You Know What It Does?

The tract is the case compressed for a person who has five minutes and no background. This course takes you through it line by line, so you can give it away and answer what comes back.

  • Course

    Abolitionism

    The Norman Statement

An allied statement, taken on its own terms: what it commits its signatories to, where it goes further than most evangelical statements, and where this site goes further still.

  • Interactive module

    Objections & apologetics

    The Abolitionist Knight

Answer the objection in its strongest form, give the scriptural ground and then a public reason your neighbour can examine — and the argument answers back.

  • Interactive module

    Church history

What a Waste of a Life

An oral history told from beside the thing, while it happens: an 1824 abolition committee, a 1938 kitchen table, an ancient workshop account, and a pavement today.

  • Interactive module

    Objections & apologetics

    The Sword Drill

Rapid recall practice: an objection appears, and you choose the scripture that meets it — untimed with full explanations, or against a ninety-second clock.

Where to start

Everything here stands alone, but these are the orders we would suggest.

The whole case: the letter, its appendices and the tract

The open letter as a course, its eight appendices as articles, then the tract and the Norman Statement, in the order they were written. Work through all of it and you will be able to state, source and defend the whole case for the abolition of abortion in the United Kingdom.

The street advocate: ready for the pavement

For anyone preparing to speak for the unborn in public: the gospel first, the scriptural ground, then the craft of a street conversation and the objections you will actually meet, finishing with the tract so you can leave the whole case in someone's hand. Pair it with the street-work guidance under Act, and practise aloud until the answers come unprompted.
