Most pastors have never been shown this. Someone in your congregation has to be the one who tells them, and it will land better from a member than from strangers on the internet.

Before you send it
Read the letter first. Send it because you are persuaded by it, not because a website told you to — the first question your pastor will ask is what you make of it.
Go gently. The letter is written in hope, not as an accusation, and the covering note below keeps that tone. Your elders may have been in the same ignorance most of us were.
