The church is the strategy
Abolition is not a parachurch project looking for church support — it is the work of the Body of Christ, and it proceeds out from the local church or it does not proceed at all.
Why the church?
Because only the church carries the message this evil actually requires: a holy God, real guilt, real atonement, real mercy. Parliament can change a law; only the gospel changes a nation. Britain's first abolition movement was born in pulpits and prayer meetings before it ever won a vote.
